1Korinthe 6:3 – judging messengers

Are you not °aware that we shall be judging messengers?

Paul assumes that the Corinthians did know that they, as the ecclesia, have been called to judge the world (:2), but also the angels. Apparently that belonged to the basic package Paul taught them. And indeed, part of the ABC of Paul’s education is the truth that the ecclesia is the body of Christ. Unified with him. She shares in his position and future. And thus also in his task to establish GOD’s Kingdom in heaven and on earth.

When this ecclesia will be snatched away from the earth (1 Thessalonians 4: 17), it is to be seated at GOD’s throne (Revelations 12: 5). On that occasion, Satan and his messengers will be cast out from heaven into the earth (Revelation 12: 7-9).  In other words: we go up, they go down. Then the time of the Israel’s great affliction will begin (Revelation 12: 6). The ecclesia will take place in the heaven the position, which is now occupied by the world-mights of the darkness (Ephesians 6: 12). Therefore we are rivals for them and they are fighting us.

Don’t forget: the ecclesia will have a great task in the future. Destined for the throne in the heaven!
