1 Corinthians 10:31 – glorifying GOD!

Then, whether you are eating or drinking, or anything you are doing, do all for the glory of God.

The conclusion from the previous is clear and logical. When the Lord’s is the earth and that which fills it. then it means that there’s no facet in my existence, that could bypass Him. For in all I do, I make use of what He created. More than that: I am His creature!

This knowledge gives my existence sense and orientation. Not only to my existence in general but also to all details of life. The entire creation is devised by Him and his creative work. And therefore also his glory. Like a piece of music is the glory of a composer and a painting the glory of a painter.

All that I do becomes glory when it refers back to GOD from whom it originates. Whether I eat, drink, work, play, love, cook, travel, walk or whatever I do, in all I may thank GOD. Hence I recognize that He is the One from whom everything comes and in Who also everything will find destination!
