The Golden Colors of Autumn

Autumn has the reputation of being a gloomy season. The light diminishes. The days grow shorter. The temperature drops. The weather is often harsh. It is a harbinger of winter… when the trees are bare, the weather is icy, and nature looks dead. Indeed, “looks.” For it is only appearance. Soon, when spring comes, that same nature will bud forth. New life!

However bleak autumn may present itself… sometimes there are such golden moments. Then the sun appears and its rays shine over dead nature. Then GOD comforts us, in the midst of all the deadness, with the imperishable glory (of which gold is a type) that awaits!
