Ephesians 6:10 – Be invigorated in the Lord

      For the rest, brethren mine, be invigorated in the Lord and in the might of His strength.

From the words “for the rest” it appears that the letter is continued ere with a new subject. It is about strength power and might that can be found in the Lord. Earlier, at 1:19 we also read about “the might of His strength”. Then it was about God’s power with which He raised Christ from the dead and placed him at His right hand above all authority and power. But not only that. That same “might of His strength” places us in that position. He is there among the celestials and also our place as believers is there. Intended for all-including task in “the coming eons” (Eph. 2:7). This addresses the great subject of this letter: the ecclesia that is connected to Christ, the head, as one body. His position is ours.

From this enormous truth we should draw strength and become strong. Realizing who we are and what our destination is. Believers now form the vanguard, the Firstfruits. It is important to be standing and holding fast to their ‘allotment’ and not be dissuaded from it. Because there are hijackers challenging this…
