1 Corinthians 3:21,22 – all is yours

So that, let no one be boasting in men, for all is yours, whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or the present, or that which is impending – all is yours…

Boasting in people and their wisdom is foolish because, by definition, true wisdom comes from GOD. If people like Paul, Apollos or Cephas, are allowed to pass this on, they are nothing more than GOD’s servants. However, not only servants of Him, but also of the believers. They perform their duties for the benefit of the ecclesia.

Believers of the ecclesia would have to realize how high the status is, which is given to them by GOD. Not only the mentioned servants, but everything belongs to us. The world is ours and everything that is in them. It is our territory and not that of the adversary –  despite his success in making others believe this. But everything in life and even death, cannot be anything else but of service to us. All present things, but also everything that is yet to happen, belongs to us. Hence also that everything in it must cooperate for the good of us who love GOD. At your service!
