Romans 2:15 – The judgement as Good News!

Their conscience testifying together and their reckonings between one another, accusing or defending them, in the day when God will be judging the hidden things of humanity, according to my evangel, through Jesus Christ.

There will come a day when GOD will judge the hidden things of man. It is the day described in Revelation 20 as the judgment of the “great white throne.” Any dead who did not participate in the first resurrection (before “the thousand years”) will then be judged. Contrary to what a human judge can do, everything will come to light. Nothing excepted. This day is not just a Divine court session: it is a rectification!

The truth that GOD will judge everything is presented in traditional theology as a pitch-black perspective that frightens people. Indeed, the rectification will be an extremely painful process for many. If only because the truth that was meticulously suppressed will then come to light. But make no mistake: the judgment takes place at a white throne. That GOD is going to make everything right is a good news! Hence, Paul says, “according to my evangel through Christ Jesus.” For He sets everything straight and brings everyone home!
