1 Corinthians 15:28 – also the Son himself

12-02-2020 - Posted by Andre Piet

Now, whenever all may be subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also shall be subjected to Him Who subjects all to Him…

‘Subjection’ is the keyword in these verses. As well as “all” . All creation will be subjected to GOD. Alienation from GOD once began where the creature did not subject to GOD. It is the essence of all rebellion, sin and disobedience. Dissatisfaction with what GOD does, thinking to know better than He and go your own way. Conversely, subjection is the only attitude which suits the creature with respect to GOD.

It is the task of the Son as Mediator to subordinate “all”, the whole of creation. Even including those who are dead. By making all alive (so that there is no more death) “all” is subjected to GOD. Once the Son has fully accomplished this task, there is nothing left for him but to hand over a perfect kingdom to his GOD and Father. The superlative eons in which he ruled are over. We are even beyond the horizon of the book “the Revelation.” The Son renounces the throne. Power and rule are no longer needed. What a future!
