1 Corinthians 10:13 – Never above abillity

A magnificent encouragement is contained in the words above. The temptations of idolatry, fornication and rebellion to which Paul referred are not superhuman. Statistics are misleading. Because the fat that the vast majority of Israel repeatedly succumbed to the temptations, does not prove that such temptations are fatal. Or that only strong individuals can withstand temptations.
The faithfulness of GOD makes the big difference. Because He guarantees that no trial will ever exceed our ability. Faith the says “amen!” and thanks GOD that with the trial will also provide the outcome. That is how you remain standing. You are unassailable on the rock-solid foundation of GOD’s faithfulness!
Joseph in the house of Potiphar constantly thought of the scepter he would receive. And when David was chased after, he never forgot the crown awaiting him. They were standing on GOD’s faithfulness and therefore had their eye on the outcome. This way you can get through any ordeal!
