Ultimate good news

This week I received the following email from a young man I don’t personally know. I would like to share it with you because it is always encouraging to hear what the good news is capable of working out.

dear Andre,

Just a quick email to thank you for your (public) message.

After gradually turning my back on the church since the age of 19, I have now been searching for several years for God and His intentions with me and with humanity. As a researcher by profession, I like to get to the bottom of things. ‘Coincidentally’, I first began to question (doubt) the trinity, and through some Googling I ended up on your site. After reading the discussions on your forum, and later your articles and blogs, and after pondering for a couple of years over what you present, it is becoming increasingly clear to me that God indeed gives the ultimate good news — and that He will not do a half job.

It took quite some time, and at first I didn’t want to accept it. But gradually, the things you write began to sink in and fall into place. Thank you for bringing this message to light in a place where it can be found. It helps me immensely to trust God more and more in my daily life.

Perhaps it’s good to hear that your many labors are not in vain. I wish you all the best.
