Ephesians 5:15,16 – walking as wise18-08-2018 - Posted by Andre Piet
Be observing accurately, then, brethren, how you are walking, not as unwise, but as wise, reclaiming the era, for the days are wicked.
While the world is walking in darkness, and has no idea, as in a daze, what’s going on, we, children of the light, would just differentiate. Awake and alert, we recognize in which days we are. Wicked days, elsewhere called: the present wicked eon (Galatians 1:4). To find our way, we need to observe our walk accurately. It’s not the question what is allowed, but we would walk as wise.
Wisdom in the walk appears in the buyout of the opportunity. When we compare to Colossians 4:5, where we find a similar call, then we see that Paul points to speaking the Word to them who are outside. Our word would always be in grace. And that we know, who we would give everyone the right answer. That we are alert, and that we know when, where, to whom and how we would speak.
How wonderful, just in dark times, to be allowed shining GOD’s light!
