Proverbs 12:25 – A good word

Sorrow and anxiety often express themselves physically. People who are concerned sometimes literally suffer from the burden. Being depressed. Those who are desperate look down by default. We then say: to let the head drop.
In contrast, there is a heart that is happy and joyful. How else then from a “good word”? And are we not primarily dependent on GOD for that? His “good word” speaks of solid hope and gives man courage. Power to continue. And peace in the confidence that there is One with whom all circumstances are in good hands. That rejoices and makes you happy! No pep talk or human therapy can beat that.
There is no sorrow in the heart that GOD’s good word is able to make way for joy. And just as worries cause a person to bow down, so the good word raises a person up so that we learn to look up. There is One who loves you!
