where is the name of God in the NT?

Long ago, God revealed His name to Moses: YAHWEH, that is, I AM THAT I AM. There is no name that is higher than this Name. So would He be called upon. And this Name would be sanctified. But how strange is it that this Name appears nowhere in the Greek manuscripts of the New Testament?! Why did God keep quiet about His Name in the Greek Scriptures? The answer is that the Name is indeed to be found in the New Testament. On each page, even! However, it is not found by itself, but linked to the name of His Son. In Philippians 2, Paul describes how Christ humbled himself by becoming obedient to the death of the cross. And then he continues:

Wherefore, also, God highly exalts Him, and graces Him with the name that is above every name, 10 that in the name of Jesus every knee should be bowing, celestial and terrestrial and subterranean, 11 and every tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, for the glory of God, the Father.

God has exalted Him, and “has graced Him with the name that is above every name”. Is that “name above every name” not the name of YAHWEH’? But how can Paul then write “… the name of Jesus”? Well, that name means YAHWEH SAVES! In other words, in the name of Jesus is “the name above every name” included. And the proof of this is that in that name every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess. Paul, here, refers to the oath that YAHWEH, by the mouth of Isaiah, swore, namely, that to Him (=YAHWEH) every knee shall bow and every tongue shall swear (Isaiah 45:23). Isaiah spoke about the name of YAHWEH, whereas Paul spoke about the name of Jesus. Is that a contradiction? No, because the name of Jesus speaks of YAHWEH, Who saves. Is the glory of Jesus not precisely this, that in everything He directs our attention to His Father? Hence, when it will universally be acclaimed: “Jesus Christ is Lord”, this will be “…to the glory of God, the Father!” Where is the name of God in the NT? The answer is that God has His name attached to Him by Whom He saves. And GOD swears by Himself that each creature will call upon His Name. YAHWEH saves… no one excepted!
