The eons in a nutshell

Someone sent me a beautiful little piece. Simple and clear. It comes from the site of Ray Smith and is about the eons. For convenience, I’ve translated it.

“See how simple it is. There was a time before God made the eons (1 Cor. 2:7). Then God made the eons (Heb. 1:2). There were eons in the past (Col. 1:26). We now live in the present wicked eon (Gal. 1:4). Satan is the god of this eon (2 Cor. 4:4). Christ, not Satan, will reign for a thousand years in the coming eon (Luke 1:33). The thousand years will end (Rev. 20:3). Christ will also reign in the eon that follows the thousand years (Rev. 22:5 and Luke 1:33). Hence, He reigns into “the eons” (i.e., the next two) of the eons (i.e., of all the others).
After that, the final eon ends (1 Cor. 10:11). Christ ceases reigning when the eons end (1 Cor. 15:24,28) because He hands over the Kingdom of God to His Father and God becomes “All in all.” The eons end, but the Kingdom continues (Luke 1:33; Isa. 9:7). We all continue to live after the eons because we, like God, will then be immortal.”
