faith healer prevented by illness

In Stolwijk (near Gouda, the Netherlands), healing services have recently been held in the Reformed congregation, as I read today in the Nederlands Dagblad. The interest appears to be great. The congregation’s pastor, Van Hoogstraten, states:

“God wants to heal everyone… If you truly search and find what went wrong, healing must always come.”

One remarkable detail in the newspaper report about the healing services especially caught my attention:

“Furthermore, the Levenstroom congregation from Leiderdorp is participating. Jan Zijlstra, pastor of this congregation, was supposed to lead the meeting in Stolwijk on Friday evening. But he has suffered a heart attack, is in the hospital, and has already undergone angioplasty…”
